I’m on dangerous ground now… Maybe that’s why it’s harder to formulate my thoughts… But I hope the picture will speak for me. The woman, the female principle… What really resides in us? For millennia, nobody could fully answer this question, not even the supposed connoisseurs of the female soul. I really wanted to highlight only one, but extremely important part of this with my painting. Namely the elemental energy that lies beneath the calm, balanced surface, which enables us even to withstand any disaster as a breakwater. This ancient inner force, the fire, spiced up with passionately deep feeling can be lured at any time, it only takes a tiny breeze for the silk scarf to fall off of it…
